With the summer holidays in full swing, you may be coming to your wits end trying to keep your little monsters entertained.

I expect you have tried your usual haunts, the go-to activities that are sure to work but why not try something a little different.

Seaton Jurassic are holding 'Crafty Fridays' drop-in sessions each Friday throughout the summer between 10am and 5pm.

Located in the Cafe area, watch your budding artist get stuck in, letting they creativity flow as they make artwork inspired by the natural history of Seaton past, present and future. No booking is required. £2 per child.

Why not take your children on as wild adventure with Seaton Jurassic. 'Wild Wendesdays' are held weekly on Wednesday mornings between 10am-11.45am.

Explore and learn about the natural history of Seaton. Go on a nature walk and enjoy free play, craft making, field studies and much more.

£3 per child. All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Pecorama are also hosting a variety of activities to keep yourself and the kids amused.

The activities on offer include:

Gill Elliot School of Photography Exhibition - On display at the Station Gallery until Saturday 19th August, 10am - 5pm.

Featuring a wide range of exciting photographic work, covering a variety of subjects.

Kit construction Days - Held every Tuesday until the 29th August, there are two drop-in sessions held per day between 11am- 1pm and 2pm - 4pm.

Learn about building kits with renowned modelling experts Gordon and Maggie Gavett.

(A nominal charge will be made for all kits in addition to the Pecorama entry fee)

Fun Kitchen - Held on Thursday 17th August between 10am - 5pm

After an extremely successful event in 2016, the Fun Kitchen will return this year. With limited spaces, the workshops are on a first come, first served basic.

With workshops aimed at to entertain your budding min chef, this is a fantastic opportunity for your child exercise they baking creativity, making some yummy baked goods. The fun workshop is tutored by award winning food education specialists from 'Fun Kitchen'.

PECO Loco Week - held between 21st and 28th August 10am - 5pm.

An intensive train service will be in operations on Beer Heights Light Railway throughout the week, featuring a variety of guest locomotives. Most Passenger trains will be pulled by both a resident PECO and guest locomotive.

Demonstrations of Goods trains will take place throughout the day and double-runs as well.

There will be entertainment held at the Top Spot Marquee to keep the kids entertained.
